It's easy to lose focus when revising. I've trawled through the web for you, and found five great revision websites to help you!
1. Best for you - FHS History weebly site
A shameless plug? Yes, of course! But I also genuinely believe that it's one of the best revision websites there is for your History exams.
As well as lots of content, there are past papers, video tutorials, summaries of what you need to know and much, much more. No other website has been tailored specifically for you, this exam, this school, and so this should always be your first stop when revising!

2. Best for testing yourself - BBC GCSE Bitesize
The GCSE Bitesize website is great - choose the relevant content you want to look at, read through the summaries, and test yourself at the end. Simple, straightforward and helpful. Highly recommended!
3. Best for creating your own revision resources - Examtime
This excellent new website allows you to make your own revision materials online. It's so quick and easy you'll be amazed. Create flashcards, mindmaps, quizzes and more as part of your general revision. You do need to register, but this only takes a minute, and is well worth it!
4. Best for Cold War and Russia - JohnDClare.net
Created by History teacher and textbook write John D. Clare, this has really good sections on the Cold War and Russia. It has good summaries of the topics, and also revision notes and many other links to have a look at. Definitely worth a look.
5. Best for Podcasts and Video links (Unit 1) - MrAllsopHistory.com
For Unit 1, this website has podcasts by Mr Allsop himself, and videos taken from YouTube on topics in Unit 1 - International Relations 1943-91. Use this when you're tired of reading through lots of text and want to watch a video, or if you fancy doing some revision with your eyes closed to one of the excellent podcasts!
